Insightful offers Goal Based Holistic Financial planning services to individuals and families all around India and to NRIs outside India. Primarily working with clients and families aged 25 to 55, in the accumulation stage of their financial journey. Identifying goals like children college, children marriage, buying a home or car, retirement etc, doing Risk Profiling, Asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing, Investment planning, Insurance planning, Tax planning and Cash flow analysis. We recommend simple low cost mutual funds in the 'Direct' mode, not the 'regular' mode which has commissions. Life, medical and critical illness insurances are also recommended as part of the holistic financial plan.

Clients who are very new to personal finances get value in having a professional help them create a long term financial plan. A lot of DIY investors also reach out to validate their plan, and have a third person, professional, unbiased point of view to their plans and investments. Although DIY investors have the tools and knowledge to create their own plans, emotions affect their decision making, and they look for an external, non-emotional point of view to help them make fully informed decisions. The most important answer they look for and get answered in this planning exercise is how long they have to work to achieve their Financial Freedom / Financial Independence / FIRE or early retirement. Individuals who are already retired or achieved financial independence and just want to focus on Investment strategies and withdrawal strategies do not find a good match with what we do at Insightful.
